This is the official magazine published by world chess federation FIDE since 1966 from Yugoslavia by GM Aleksandar Matanovic. Chess Informant published two issues per year in 1966–1990, three issues per year in 1991–2011 and four issues per year since 2012. It follows a multilingual approach with symbolic game annotations in figurine algebric notation.
Major tournaments covered in this issue are: Malmo, Tallinn, Dortmund, Philadelphia, Bad Homburg, British Ch., Russian Ch., Koszalin, 1st Asian Ch., Polanica Zdroj, World Students' Ch., Samara, some of the zonals & the Elista olympiad.
Contains 690 fully annotated games/fragments plus combunations & endings
