'm very familiar with Mr. Legg having seen him perform live many times. This album is one of his finest. Inexplicably, one almost never reads about him in guitar magazines, and he has not gained the mainstream popularity he richly deserves. Altered tunings are a specialty of his and he uses them to write the most amazing music. Being a guitarist myself, I'm very grateful that he always puts the music in the forefront instead of technique, which means I can actually play some of his songs. Whenever someone says "Oh, you play the guitar? Play something!" I will invariably play Adrian Legg tunes because they never sound like the rest of the band didn't show up. I love this guy.
