The soundtrack to 2001: A Space Odyssey is so recognizable, yet it's so unique. Opting for classical music, Stanley Kubrick nails it with this epic-sounding, larger than life soundtrack that helps tell the story. but suddenly Kubrick decided to discard the whole of it; and then came the 8-track original Soundtrack.
